
Dave Dawson to Serve as Oil Kings Broadcaster for Remainder of 2023-24 Season

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings have announced changes to their broadcast team for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.
Beginning on Sunday, February 4 against the Calgary Hitmen, Dave Dawson will serve as the Oil Kings play-by-play broadcaster for the remaining home and away games this season while Guy Flaming will remain as the team's colour commentator for all home games.
Dawson brings over 20 years of broadcasting experience at various levels of junior hockey. He currently serves as the Broadcast Manager for HNLIVE, a live production company that provides professional level broadcasts of several sports including a number of Hockey Canada events.
Former broadcaster Andrew Peard has taken a new role within OEGSE and will be joining the Edmonton Oilers communication team. His final game as the voice of the Oil Kings will be tomorrow night when the team plays host to the Calgary Hitmen at 7:00 P.M.
All Oil Kings games can be listened to on the "Oil Kings Radio" channel on iHeartRadio.ca and the iHeartRadio Canada app.
The Edmonton Oil Kings next home game is Friday, February 2 when they welcome the Calgary Hitmen to Rogers Place at 7:00 P.M.
