Moose Jaw Warriors News Release

Moose Jaw, SK - The Moose Jaw Warriors are excited to announce the return of RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Nights for Children's Miracle Network.

This season, the Warriors will be wearing special edition Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jerseys when we take on the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.

The Warriors' special edition Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jerseys will be auctioned off in a silent auction at the game, ending in the second intermission, with the funds being donated to the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation through the Children's Miracle Network.

RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Nights for Children's Miracle Network debuted during the 2022-23 WHL Regular Season - a charitable initiative driven by RE/MAX in partnership with Paramount Global, the parent company of global kids and family brand Nickelodeon.

The 2022-23 edition of RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Nights for Children's Miracle Network saw nearly $160,000 raised in support of Children's Hospital Foundations across Western Canada.

In all 16 of the WHL's Canadian markets, WHL Clubs will celebrate a Nickelodeon theme night, complete with special theme jerseys, branded creative, giveaway items, and in-game activations. Funds raised through RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children's Miracle Network will go towards supporting local children's hospitals in Western Canada, including the BC Children's Hospital, Stollery Children's Hospital, Alberta Children's Hospital, Jim Pattison Children's Hospital, and Children's Hospital of Winnipeg.

"RE/MAX is thrilled to once again collaborate with the WHL this season, in this initiative geared toward kids, in support of kids," says Christopher Alexander, President of RE/MAX Canada. "The money raised will help fund the life-saving work of Children's Miracle Network in many of the communities that RE/MAX serves and calls 'home.'"

"Getting kids back to being kids is why we do what we do," notes Adam Starkman, President and CEO of Canada Children's Hospital Foundations. "And I can't think of a better way to showcase that then a night filled with games, video and music featuring hockey and the Nickelodeon characters kids know and love. For over 30 years, RE/MAX has been an important partner of Children's Miracle Network and this event, done in partnership with the Western Hockey League, is an innovative way to raise funds to support children's hospitals across Western Canada. Funds raised at this event help support child centred programming for kids while they are in hospital, and leading-edge treatment to help them get back home as soon as possible." ‚¬Â¨ ‚¬Â¨The Children's Miracle Network strives to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and research. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

RE/MAX has partnered with the Children's Miracle Network for 30 years. ‚¬Â¨ ‚¬Â¨"In partnership with our longest standing corporate sponsor RE/MAX, the WHL is pleased to announce the return of RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children's Miracle Network," commented WHL Commissioner Ron Robison. "After raising nearly $160,000 for Children's Miracle Network throughout the 2022-23 season, the WHL and our Clubs in Western Canada are excited to partner with RE/MAX to generate even further support for the Children's Miracle Network while also delivering an exciting fan experience thanks to Nickelodeon."
