KINSTON, NC (JULY 20, 2011) - Adam Abraham's RBI double snapped a tie game as Kinston reversed another late-inning deficit to come back and beat the Dash 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon. The game marked the final contest the Dash will play at Grainger Stadium, as the Indians franchise will move to Zebulon, NC for the 2012 season.

Tyler Saladino celebrated his 22nd birthday by starting the game with a solo home run to left field off Brett Brach to give Winston-Salem (12-14, 44-52) a 1-0 lead. The Dash added a second run one inning later on Kevin Dubler's sacrifice fly that brought home Juan Silverio.

The Indians (15-10, 53-41) halved their deficit with an unearned run in the fourth against Cameron Bayne. Tyler Holt reached third base on a single and an error and scored on a double play.

Both teams added single runs in the fifth inning, Winston-Salem on Dubler's solo homer and Kinston on Tyler Cannon's RBI single. John Spatola drove in the Dash's fourth run of the day on a sac fly in the sixth to give Winston a 4-2 lead.

With the heat index well over 100 degrees, Bayne began to wilt in the seventh as his pitch count climbed. Abraham singled to start the inning and moved to third on a passed ball and wild pitch. He scored to make it a one-run game once again on Chase Burnette's grounder to second.

After Bayne gave up a hit and a walk to consecutive batters with two outs, he was removed from the game in favor of J.R. Ballinger. The first batter he faced was Delvi Cid, who reached on a Saladino error to load the bases. The K-Tribe then executed a successful suicide squeeze, as Holt bunted down the third base line and Silverio could not come up with the ball. Holt reached first safely and Cannon scored from third to tie the game.

After Preston Guilmet pitched a scoreless eighth, the Indians continued their comeback in the bottom of the inning. Anthony Gallas walked and was pinch-run for by Justin Toole. A wild pitch moved Toole to second before Abraham's double to center field scored him to give Kinston its first lead. Ryan Kussmaul then entered the ballgame for Winston and retired the next three batters, but the damage was done as the Indians had scored for the third time over their final two team at bats to leapfrog the Dash.

Guilmet (1-1) worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning, striking out Daniel Wagner looking to end the game. The Indians closer picked up his first win of the season with two scoreless frames of work. Ballinger (4-2) suffered the loss, allowing one run on two hits and a walk in 0.1 innings.

Notes: Ian Gac ran his hit streak to nine games with a single in the eighth inning... Dubler drove in runs in each of his first two plate appearances with the Dash. His home run came in his first official at bat. The catcher had two in 44 games with low-A Kannapolis. Silverio picked up two more hits and is now 6 for 11 at the plate since joining Winston-Salem on Monday...

The Dash return from their longest road trip of the season on Friday night to start a seven-game home stand at BB&T Ballpark. Winston hosts the Potomac Nationals at 7:05 p.m. on Friday. RHP Jake Petricka (0-4, 6.88) makes the start against LHP Sammy Solis (3-0, 2.84). The game may be viewed on television on WXII's THIS Carolina or heard on www.wsdash.com beginning at 6:45.
