Swift Current Broncos News Release
The Ottawa Senators have announced they have signed graduating Broncos' forward Keegan Dansereau to an amateur tryout agreement.
Dansereau, from Saskatoon, led the Broncos in scoring last season with 37 goals and 44 assists for 81 points. Dansereau joins former Broncos' captain Zack Smith as a Senator prospect.
The Broncos acquired Dansereau at the start of the 2006-2007 campaign from Calgary. He spent 2 seasons with the Broncos and 5 years in the WHL tallying 241 points in 311 games. Keegan has previously been at 2 NHL camps, last year with Columbus and in 2007 with Florida.
The Broncos 3 graduating over-agers have all now made commitments to further their hockey careers. Goaltender Travis Yonkman has committed to the University of Alberta and defenseman Spencer McAvoy has committed to St. Francis Xavier University.
