Danbury finishes week with shootout loss
January 17, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Danbury Trashers News Release
The Trashers finished the week with a few bumps in the road after their inspiring wins over Flint as the Adirondack Frostbite made up a two-goal deficit in the 3rd period to force a shootout and steal an extra point from Danbury on Sunday.
With the Frostbite win, the Trashers hold a slim two-point lead in the division, making Friday's return engagement to the Glens Falls Civic Center a game that could see the Frostbite share a tie of 1st place if the Trashers fail to win the game.
Mike Bayrack had one of the best single offensive weeks this season as he finished with nine points on five goals, including two short-handed tallies. He also scored a pair of goals against Adirondack just 49 seconds apart in the second period.
