Dallas Stars Reduce Training Camp Roster by Eight

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the team has reduced the NHL training camp roster by eight players. Those players will report to Cedar Park this week for American Hockey League training camp.

The following eight players have been either returned to their respective club or released from their tryout in Dallas:

Ludwig Bystrom  Defense   Loaned to Texas (AHL)  2012 NHL Draft (2nd round, 43rd overall)

Mads Eller  Right Wing  Released from ATO  NA

Julius Honka  Defense   Loaned to Texas (AHL)  2014 NHL Draft (1st round, 14th overall)

Stephen Johns  Defense   Loaned to Texas (AHL)  Via Trade with Chicago, 7/10/15

Esa Lindell  Defense   Loaned to Texas (AHL)  2012 NHL Draft (3rd round, 74th overall) 

Travis Morin  Center  Loaned to Texas (AHL)  Free Agent, 7/2/10 

Devin Shore  Center  Loaned to Texas (AHL)  2012 NHL Draft (2nd round, 61st overall)
