
Dallas Stars Recall Jamie Oleksiak

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Jamie Oleksiak from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Oleksiak (oh-LEHK-see-ak), 22, has registered eight points (1-78), eight penalty minutes and 29 shots on goal in 32 games for Dallas this season. He has skated in 19 games with Texas this season, posting 11 points (3-811) and a team-leading +11 plus/minus rating.
The 6-foot-7, 250-pound native of Toronto, Ontario was selected by Dallas in the first round (14th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
