Dallas Mavericks Sign Theo Pinson to 10-Day Contract

PORTLAND, ME - Maine Celtics forward Theo Pinson has earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the NBA, signing a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks, under the COVID-related hardship allowance.
Pinson, a North Carolina product, is off to a great start this season with Maine. In 12 games (all starts), Pinson is averaging 16.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. He has topped 20 points in a game four times, including a season high 30 points on Nov. 14 vs. Delaware. Pinson has played in 68 NBA games in his career.
Pinson becomes the 15th player in franchise history to earn a GATORADE Call-Up, and the first since Justin Bibbs during the 2018-19 season.
