
Daavettila, Veideman Named to All-ECHL First Team

(Windsor, CO) - The ECHL announced Thursday that Eagles forward Trent Daavettila and defenseman Adrian Veideman have been named to the 2015-16 All-ECHL First Team. The team was selected in a vote of ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and media, who were asked to select a goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards. With the selctions of Daavettila and Veideman, the Eagles are represented with two of the six total members of the 2015-16 All-ECHL First Team and are the only team with multiple representatives.
Daavettila is on the All-ECHL First Team for the first time after twice previously earning All-ECHL Second Team honors (2010-11 and 2013-14). He ranks second in the ECHL with 54 assists and 79 points and is fourth in plus-minus with a +31 rating.
Veideman is tied for first among ECHL defensemen with 17 goals and is second with 44 points. He has six game-winning goals, which is second among league blueliners, and his three overtime goals is tied for the overall league lead.
