William Wrenn Named to All-ECHL Second Team

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA -The Alaska Aces have announced that defenseman William Wrenn has been named to the All-ECHL second team after a vote by league officials, media members and individual team officials.
Aces Coach and President of Hockey Operations Rob Murray made the announcement Thursday.
Wrenn, a native of Anchorage, is currently on loan to AHL Utica.
Wrenn ranks second among ECHL defensemen with 37 assists and is tied for third with 41 points. He has 14 power-play assists which is tied for fourth among blueliners.
"The entire Aces organization is proud of William, who is having an excellent season," said Murray. "He's our captain, our leader and put up the numbers to back it all up along with playing lock-down defense night in and night out".
The entire All-ECHL second team is as follows:
G - Jeff Lerg, Toledo Walleye
D - Adam Comrie, Reading Royals
D - William Wrenn, Alaska Aces
F - Riley Brace, Wheeling Nailers
F - Jesse Root, Missouri Mavericks
F - Shawn Szydlowski, Fort Wayne Komets
The Aces take on Colorado Friday and Saturday at the Sullivan Arena in the last two games of the season.
