
D.C. United Announces Playoff Dates

D.C. United News Release
Washington, D. C. (Oct. 26, 2014) - D.C. United will play its first match of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs on the road on Nov. 2 before returning home to RFK Stadium on Nov. 8. The first match of the Eastern Conference Semifinals will be televised by Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic (4 p.m. ET), and the return leg at RFK Stadium will be broadcast nationally by NBC (2:30 p.m. ET). All times are subject to change.
The top seed in the Eastern Conference in the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, D.C. United (17-9-8, 59 points) will face the winner of the Eastern Conference Knockout Game between No. 4 seed New York Red Bulls (13-10-11, 50 points) and No. 5 seed Sporting Kansas City (14-13-7, 49 points) in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Eastern Conference Semifinals will be decided by a two-game, aggregate-goal format.
