
D.C. United Announces Corporate Partners for 2012

Washington, D.C. (March 9, 2012) - D.C. United today announced corporate partners for the 2012 Major league Soccer campaign. Headlined by Volkswagen who is designated as the presenting partner of D.C. United, the club corporate roster includes Corona, LivingSocial, TD Bank, n-tieractive and adidas, among others. New brands to United's corporate partner roster this season are: AT&T Wireless, idegy, Cricket Wireless, Dominion Dental, Parts Authority and Qdoba.

United is pleased to provide a unique and effective marketing platform that allows our partners to develop activations that support their marketing and promotional efforts while providing brand engagement and visibility with our fans--one of the most vibrant and diverse fan bases in all of professional sports."
Entering their fifth year as Presenting Partners of D.C. United, Volkswagen can be found associated with everything the club does on the field and in the community. Central to the partnership is the VW logo emblazoned on club uniforms. Volkswagen is heavily involved in the gameday experience via the VW Garage, Volkswagen Lounge, and free parking for the first 50 Volkswagen's in Lot 4. Volkswagen is also associated with all grassroots marketing initiatives and a core partner in a host of community programs, such as Community Soccer Series, Super Copa, and Copa DC. Volkswagen title nights will be held on April 22 and August 19.
LivingSocial, the online and mobile source for great local values and experiences, is entering the second year as an official partner of the club. As part of the agreement, LivingSocial is the exclusive social commerce provider of D.C. United. Among the offers planned for 2012 are ticket packages, unique experiences, camp opportunities, and road trips. Living Social will host a title night on April 7.
TD Bank returns for a third season as the official bank of D.C. United. TD Bank will host a title night on August 4 and will feature co-branded marketing collaterals at 30 of their Washington, DC area stores.
As the title sponsor of the n-tieractive Networking Field Level Experience, n-tieractive remains heavily involved in the game-days at RFK Stadium. The n-tieractive tent is home to field level seat holders for pre-game, halftime and post-game activities. In addition, n-tieractive will host networking events on non-game days.
Other official partners include GEICO, SuperStar Tickets, American Airlines, Comcast SportsNet, Lenkersdorfer Fine Jewelers, Renaissance Hotels, Red Card Cancer, National Guard, Northern Virginia Doctors of Optometry, Results the Gym, LADO, Metro Orthopedics and Sports Therapy, Davelle Clothiers, United Wellness and La Nueva.
