
Midfielders Alvaro Fernandez and Mauro Rosales Receive U.S. Green Cards

Seattle Sounders FC News Release
RENTON, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC announced today that midfielders Alvaro Fernandez and Mauro Rosales have received their U.S. Green Cards, granting them permanent resident status in the United States, effective immediately.
As residents, Fernandez (Uruguay) and Rosales (Argentina) will no longer occupy an International Player slot on Seattle's roster.
Sounders FC also announced today that defender Andrew Duran underwent successful right knee surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear.
Sounders FC will travel to Torreon, Mexico to face Santos Laguna in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals on March 14 before returning to Seattle for the MLS season opener on March 17 against Toronto FC.
