September 11, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The 2008 Kelly Cup champion Cincinnati Cyclones announced today that they will host an 'Open House' on Thursday, September 25. The event is free and open to the public. The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators.

The 'Open House' event is an opportunity for the public to come down to U.S. Bank Arena and check out seating options for the 2008-09 season. Among the highlights of the evening will be an auction of the Kelly Cup championship jerseys from last season, a meet and greet with Cyclones Head Coach Chuck Weber-who will give a preview of the upcoming season--and a dinner for full 36-game season and 18-game half season ticket holders. All fans will receive a special commemorative poster of the 2008 Cyclones celebrating their first Kelly Cup championship on the ice. The poster is courtesy of Hometown Sports Collectibles. New lines of Cyclones merchandise and a yearbook highlighting the championship season will be available as well. Locker room tours will also be available for everyone.

"We are excited to have an opportunity to invite everyone back to our house," U.S. Bank Arena and Cincinnati Cyclones Vice-President and General Manager Kristin Ropp said. "This is a chance for everyone to come down and get their tickets for the upcoming season and to spend some time checking out what we have to offer."

Tickets for the 2008-09 Cincinnati Cyclones season are now on sale. The Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 144. The Cyclones open the season at Wheeling on Friday, October 17 and after three road games, host their home opener at U.S. Bank Arena against Dayton on Saturday, October 25 at 7:30pm. There will be a special Kelly Cup championship banner raising ceremony prior to that game.
