Lynx Agree to Terms with Travis Fuller

AUGUSTA, Ga.− The Augusta Lynx have agreed to terms with left wing Travis Fuller, Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations John Marks announced today.

"We're very excited to have Travis return to the team," Marks said. "He's a high-caliber player that we expect to use in many different situations on the ice. He has proven offensive abilities, and I think he's going to be a real bright spot for our team this year."

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound native of Whitney, Ontario, had 11 points (seven goals, four assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 16 games after coming to the Lynx from Cincinnati as a rookie at the trade deadline last season. While with the Cyclones, Fuller had 25 points (13 goals, 12 assists) and 33 penalty minutes in 43 games. The 22-year-old also had three points (two goals, one assist) and five penalty minutes in five games during the 2007-08 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Prior to turning pro, Fuller had 165 points (66 goals, 99 assists) and 114 penalty minutes in 236 career regular-season games with Barrie and Mississauga of the Ontario Hockey League from 2003-04 through the 2006-07 season. Fuller also had 32 points (18 goals, 14 assists) and 33 penalty minutes in 36 career OHL playoff games. His complete career statistics are attached.

The Lynx also announced that the team will host an exhibition game against the Mississippi Sea Wolves on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7:00 p.m. for a special community night. The James Brown Arena will be hosting this free event, with more details to come.
