
Cyclones Kick off 2011 Training Camp on October 1

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today their 2011 Training Camp Schedule.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Jarrod Skalde and Assistant Coach Andrew Cassels, this year's camp will kick off at U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday, October 1 at 10:00am and will continue through Saturday, October 8.
In addition to daily on-ice practice sessions, the Cyclones will play three exhibition games, beginning Thursday, October 6 against the Wheeling Nailers. The first two games, on October 6 and October 7 will be played on the road while the lone home preseason contest will be held on Saturday, October 8 at U.S. Bank Arena at 6:30pm immediately following the Cyclones Power Play 5K Run/Walk presented by Powerade.
All on-ice practice sessions and the home exhibition game are open to the media, and there will be coach and player availability after each. However, changes in the schedule may occur. Interviews can also be done before practice, but those should be scheduled ahead of time. To schedule an interview, please contact Nick Brunker at 513.421.1342. All practice sessions will be held at U.S. Bank Arena.
As of today, the list of the players who have arrived at Cyclones Training Camp is as follows:
Forwards: Mathieu Aubin, Erik Boisvert, Dan Eves, Brendan Hull, Mike Liambas, Matt McIlvane, Vinny Scarsella, Neil Trimm, Matt Pierce
Defensemen: Ryan Annesley, Ryan Blair, Chris Reed, Charlie Pens
There will likely be additional players added to the Training Camp Roster as AHL camps wrap up this weekend. There will be additional releases to announce those additions.
