Aces Announce 2011 Training Camp Schedule

The 2011 Kelly Cup Champion Alaska Aces will open their 2011 Training Camp with their first team practice on Friday, September 30 at 10:00am at the Ben Boeke Ice Rink, Aces Head Coach Rob Murray announced on Wednesday morning. The two-week camp will last through October 13 before the Aces regular season opens on Friday, October 14. All Aces practices during Training Camp will begin at 10:00am, and will be held at either Ben Boeke Ice Rink or at the Sullivan Arena. All practices are open to both the media and the general public. The Aces 14-day Training Camp is highlighted by two exhibition games against their new ECHL Conference rival, the Colorado Eagles on Tuesday, October 4 and Wednesday, October 5. Both games will begin at 7:15pm at the Sullivan Arena, and are part of the team's "Paint the Rink Pink" fundraising event to help the local fight against cancer. In addition to the exhibition games, on-ice workouts and practices are currently slated for the entire Training Camp. A complete Training Camp practice schedule is listed below. Tickets are currently on sale for both pre-season games and all regular season games at the Aces office, the Sullivan Arena box office, and all Fred Meyer locations.
