Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones today announced a secondary affiliation with the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks for the 2002-03 season.
"We are thrilled to have made a connection with the San Jose Sharks organization," said Cyclones President/COO Pat Pylypuik. "Throughout hockey circles, the Sharks are considered to have one of the best group of young prospects and we look forward to having the opportunity to develop some of those players in a Cyclones sweater."
Earlier this summer the Cyclones announced partial affiliations with two teams in Europe, the Milan (Italy) Vipers and the Vienna (Austria) Capitals. The Cyclones will be participating in the first Austria-America Cup Tournament as part of their exhibition tour of Austria in late September.
San Jose also has formal affiliations with the American Hockey League's Cleveland Barons and the ECHL's Richmond (Va.) Renegades.
Full-season tickets and partial ticket plans for the 2002-03 season are on sale through the Cyclones ticket office. For more information on pricing and ticket options, please call the Cyclones at (513) 421-7825 ext. 144.
