Denver Cutthroats News Release
DENVER, Colo. - The Denver Cutthroats return home this week after going 3-0-0 on their road trip last week to pull themselves within reach of the top spot in the Central Hockey League standings. The Cutthroats will host a trio of games this week at Denver Coliseum.

December 4 at Arizona Sundogs, 3-2 Win
The Sundogs erased a 2-0, Cutthroats lead in the third period, but Troy Schwab tallied the game-winner with six minutes remaining. Kent Patterson stopped 19 of 21 shots for the Fish.
December 7 at Allen Americans, 2-1 Win
AJ Gale and Brad Smyth provided the offense for Denver while Kieran Millan turned aside 31 shots as the Cutthroats topped the CHL's top team in the Americans.
December 8 at Fort Worth Brahmas, 4-3 (SO) Win
Dean Strong forced overtime with 1:34 left in regulation, then Jamie MacQueen and Luke Fulghum each scored in the shootout to close out the perfect road trip for the Cutthroats.

Tuesday the Cutthroats continue their rivalry against the Rapid City Rush. The Cutthroats are 3-2-1 this season against Rapid City. This weekend the Cutthroats get another chance at one of the CHL's top teams with a chance to potentially take over first place in the standings. Wichita (1st, 30 pts.), Allen (2nd, 29 pts.), and Denver (3rd, 27 pts.) are separated by three points currently.
