Edge to Host Open Tryout Saturday

The Bloomington Edge, presented by Heller Stores, have planned an open tryout for this Saturday for the upcoming indoor football season.
The tryout session will be conducted this Saturday, December 15 from 9 a.m. until noon at Illinois Wesleyan University's Shirk Center. Tryout fee is $50, payable in cash at the registration which begins at 8 a.m. Saturday. No cleats are allowed. Questions should be directed to head coach Kenton Carr at 309-242-2973.
The Edge begin play in the new Champions Professional Indoor Football League in March. A 12-game season is scheduled with six home games. For more information on season tickets and sponsorships, call 309-TC SPORT (827-7678).
