Cutthroats to Host Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday

DENVER, Colo. - The Denver Cutthroats will be hosting their first ever Teddy Bear Toss this Saturday when they face the Allen Americans at the Denver Coliseum at 7:05 PM MST. The Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation will also be collaborating with the Cutthroats in carrying out the event.

Fan are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuffed animal to Saturday's contest and after the Cutthroats score their first goal - throw their stuffed animals onto the ice. The animals will be collected and donated to the Denver Santa Claus Shop, then distributed to underprivileged children around the area in time for the holidays.

Fans who bring a stuffed animal to the game will receive a "Buy One, Get One Free" ticket voucher for Saturday night's contest to be redeemed at the box office.

Teddy bears and stuffed animals will also be available at the game in exchange for a monetary donation, which will also go to the Santa Claus Shop.
