Denver Cutthroats News Release
DENVER, CO - The Denver Cutthroats snapped a three-game skid over the weekend with back-to-back wins over the visiting Fort Worth Brahmas. The Cutthroats now travel to Prescott Valley, Arizona this week for a three-game set against the Arizona Sundogs.

November 2 vs. Fort Worth Brahmas, 5-3 Win
Brad Smyth scored two goals and Kyle Quincey and AJ Gale each added three assists to lead the Denver Cutthroats to a 5-3 win over the Fort Worth Brahmas at the Denver Coliseum. Kent Patterson stopped 17 of 20 shots for his second win of the season.
November 3 vs. Fort Worth Brahmas, 7-1 Win
Four different players scored their first goals of the season to help the Denver Cutthroats sweep a weekend series over the Fort Worth Brahmas with a 7-1 win at the Denver Coliseum. Mario Boilard led the way with two goals, plus Phil Tesoriero and Gabriel Beaupre each scored the first goal of their pro careers. Kieran Millan made 34 saves to earn the first win of his professional career.

The Cutthroats and Sundogs (3-2-2) match up for the start of five consecutive games between the two clubs. The first three will be played this week in the desert before the two teams return to Colorado for a pair of games at the Denver Coliseum on November 14 and 16. The Cutthroats and Sundogs meet a total of 11 times this season (five in Denver, six in Arizona). The Sundogs currently have two NHL players on their roster in defenseman David Schlemko and forward Kyle Chipchura - both from the Phoenix Coyotes.
Weekly Notes: The Cutthroats have had a multi-goal scorer in five consecutive games. The Cutthroats forward line of AJ Gale, Troy Schwab, and Brad Smyth have combined for 31 points in the team's first six games this season. Kyle Quincey is currently tied for fourth among CHL defensemen with seven points (one goals, six assists) this season. AJ Gale is currently tied for third in CHL overall scoring with 12 points on the year - five goals, seven assists.
