Cutthroats Players Join Annual Movember Campaign

November 5, 2012 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Denver Cutthroats News Release

DENVER, CO - Denver Cutthroats players are joining the annual Movember campaign and asking the hockey fans in the area for their donation and support. During the month of November each year, men across the country grow mustaches in order to raise awareness towards men's health issues, primarily prostate cancer.

The Cutthroats players have registered as a team on the official Movember website and invite fans to visit http://us.movember.com/team/608125 in order to join or donate to the cause.

As the month of November progresses, and player mustaches continue to grow, the Cutthroats will be displaying individual player's faces on their website, plus Facebook and Twitter, in order to support the annual Movember campaign. Fans are encouraged to submit photos of their own Movember mustaches to the team's social media sites to join the effort as well.

Those in attendance at Cutthroats games will also see references to the team's Movember campaign through the Cutthroats final home contest of the month on November 30 against the Wichita Thunder. 5280 Waste Solutions will be holding a ticketing fundraiser for the November 30 home game against the Thunder as part of the Cutthroats Movember efforts. Fans can contribute by purchasing their tickets online through Ticketmaster with the code "waste". To learn more about the ticketing fundraiser call 303-688-5297.

For more information on Movember, or to register, please visit http://www.movember.com. Last year more than $126 million was raised worldwide for the Movember campaign.
