
'Cutters win in rout

Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The Crosscutters scored in every inning except the 6th and 9th on Monday night in burying the Batavia MuckDogs 16-7.
The win keeps the Cutters hanging on in the Pinckney Division race, now 7 games back of Jamestown, who valted into 1st with the Muckdogs loss.
Williamsport scored early and often plating 14 runs in the first five frames. The Cutters unloaded on Batavia pitching with 18 hits in the ballgame. SS Troy Hanzawa and OF Tim Binkoski each had 3-hit games for Williamsport.
The Cutters have 12 games left in the regular season with 8 of those games at home where the Cutters have a sub-.500 record (14-16)
The 8-game home stand begins Tuesday at Bowman Field as the Crosscutters host the Auburn Doubledays at 7:05pm. The game can be heard on ESPN Radio Williamsport (104.1FM & 1050AM).
