Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
After starting the season 0-6 against the Cutters, the Brooklyn Cyclones beat Williamsport for the second straight night Friday by a final score of 5-2. The Cutters plated one run in each of the first two innings and were held scoreless the rest of the way in losing their fourth game in a row. 1B Steven Pearce was 2-for-3 with two doubles. CF Jermel Lomack had 1 hit and 2 stolen bases to raise his total to 13 in just 10 games. The loss drops the Cutters 2 games behind Lowell in the wild-card playoff race. Williamsport now travels to Hudson Valley for a 2-game series beginning Saturday night.
