Aberdeen IronBirds News Release
Aberdeen was held to three hits, all singles, and Sean Danielson stole a team record six bases as New Jersey beat the IronBirds, 5-1, Friday night. Aberdeen falls to 20-37 and has lost ten strait road games.
The IronBirds only run came in the first as Ryan Steinbach reached on a fielders choice and scored later in the frame on a passed ball. Mark Fleisher, Matt Pulley and Corey Shafer had the Aberdeen hits.
Reid Hamblet, in his first pro start, took the loss, giving up 3er and 5h over three innings. Bryan Dumesnil pitched three innings allowing one run and Kyle Boehm gave up one run in two innings.
Danielson went 3-3 and stole second and third base in the 1st, 3rd and 8th innings. New Jersey had 8 stolen bases in the game.
