Williamsport took a 5-2 lead in the fourth, but couldn't hold it. The Doubledays scored five unanswered and took game two of a back-to-back in Auburn 7-5.

Roman Quinn had another quality night. He reached three times, drove in two runs and hit a triple for the third consecutive game.

His two-run triple off the wall in right gave the Cutters a 4-2 lead in the fourth. Quinn then scored on a wild pitch to cap a four-run inning, but starter Nic Hanson couldn't hold it

After retiring seven of the first eight batters faced, Hanson struggled in his second start of the year, allowing five runs in just 3.2 innings.

He gave up three runs in the fourth on a basehits by Estarlin Martinez, Wander Ramos and Wes Schill, as the Doubledays tied it up as quickly as they had lost the lead.

Auburn then took the lead in the sixth off of Ramon Oviedo. Schill, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, singled home Jordan Poole to give the Doubledays a 6-5 lead.

That lead was upped to 7-5 when a Yan Carlos Olmo throw went awry in the Cutter infield to score Martinez.

Williamsport drops to 12-18 and back to 8.5 back of Auburn in the division. They start the SawBuck series with State College at Medlar Field tomorrow at 7:05. Every Cutters game can be heard on ESPN Radio 104.1 FM, ESPN 1050 AM, or online at crosscutters.com.
