
Cutters Still Looking For First Road Win

Williamsport dropped their sixth-straight road game to start the 2016 season as they were held to just one run in a 3-1 loss to the Auburn Doubledays Sunday evening.
Auburn plated all three of their runs in the first two innings, but Crosscutters offense was unable to score more than their one run despite collecting four doubles in the game.
Williamsport as a team went 1-for-9 in the loss, stranding 9 base runners in the game. The Cutters are now batting .178 with runners in scoring position this season.
Darick Hall reached base three times in the loss, being the only Cutter batter to record multiple hits, finishing the night 2-for-3 with a double.
Julian Garcia pitched two perfect innings of relief in his professional debut for the Williamsport Crosscutters, striking out two Doubledays batters.
