Cutters Fall In Extras

Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
Seth Lancaster drilled an 8th inning, RBI double into the right-center gap, giving the Crosscutters their first hit and run of the night. Lancaster finished the night 2 for 4 with the RBI double.
Luis Ramirez tossed two perfect innings of relief, before giving up four runs in the to of the 10th inning, allowing a two-run single and a two-run home run, which gave the Muckdogs a 7-3 lead.
Madison Stoked ended the night 2 for 4 with a pair of RBI, including an RBI in the bottom of the 8th and then a RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning.
Jhordany Mezquita allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over five innings of work, striking out five in a no decision. Austin Ross allowed an unearned run on one hit and a walk over two innings, striking out three.
The Crosscutters are now 0-3 in extra innings this season, while going 0-2 in extra inning games at home.
Luis Ramirez has allowed a home run in each of the Cutters extra inning losses at home this season.
Rafael Marchan extended his on-base steak to 16 games with a 10th inning single to right field.
