
Cutters Donate over $13,000 to Charity

Saturday, June 29 was a great day for area charities supported by the Williamsport Crosscutters.
That morning the team held their annual Cutters 5K Race to benefit the Children's Development Center. The race which starts and ends at Bowman Field raised $10,000 for the CDC which was presented to CDC rep Dr. Jim Campbell on the field prior to that night's game.
Also that evening, the team was outfitted in special 1989 Williamsport Bills replica jerseys. Those jerseys, sponsored by Susquehanna Trailways, were auctioned off to fans during the game with proceeds benefiting the Veteran's Memorial Park on Wahoo Dr. in Williamsport.
The jersey auction raised over $3,200. A check was presented to representatives of Veteran's Memorial Park prior to the game on July 3.
