WEST HAVEN, CT - New Haven County Cutters starter RHP Courtney Hall was named the Can-Am League's Pitcher of the Week for the week of Aug. 28-Sept. 3, the league announced.
Overall for the week, Hall went 2-0 and allowed no runs and just three hits while recording 11 strikeouts in 11.1 innings.
He defeated the Nashua Pride last Monday, giving up no runs and just one hit and tallying four strikeouts in 5.1 innings.
On Sunday, Hall once again shutout the Pride as he scattered two hits and struck out seven in 6.0 innings.
