The Williamsport Crosscutters, days away from the start of their 10th anniversary season, announced their Opening Day 2008 roster, highlighted by 13 players from the just completed 2008 draft.

Three of the top ten Philadelphia selections in the 2008 First Year Player Draft will suit up for the Cutters on Opening Day, including third round selection RHP Vance Worley from Cal State Long Beach, fifth round pick 1B Jeremy Hamilton from Wright State and INF Cody Overbeck a ninth round pick from the University of Mississippi. In all, the Phillies have assigned 13 of their 50 selections this year to Williamsport.

Cutters Opening Night & Single Game Tickets NOW Available Online Ordering Now Added for Single Game Tickets Tickets for the Williamsport Crosscutters home opener scheduled for Friday, June 20, are now on sale. In addition, box seat and general admission tickets for individual games will also be available. Throw a First Pitch at a Cutters Game! Have you always wanted to show your stuff on a professional mound? Well, here's your chance. With the Williamsport Crosscutters First Pitch Package you can take the field with your future Phillies and show off your best delivery to the whole crowd (and have a picture to prove it)!

These memorable opportunities are only available to the general public at select games and are sure to go fast. The package includes; Throwing a ceremonial first pitch prior to a Cutters game, a hot dog, soda, souvenir program and Cutters cap, and your name in lights on the Bowman Field scoreboard. In addition, your photo will be taken and emailed to you.

Phillies Announce Tryout Camp at Bowman Field The Philadelphia Phillies have announced a tryout camp to be held at Bowman Field on Friday, June 27 at 9am.

The tryout camp is open to all players over 16 years of age. There is no fee. Registration will take place 30 minutes prior to start of camp. All players must bring their own equipment, including hat, cleats, glove and baseball pants or shorts. Bats and balls are provided at the workout. Catchers may want to bring their own catching gear.
