The Lake Erie Crushers and the Evansville Otters were suspended on Friday night in the opening game of a three game series. With the score tied 2-2 in the bottom of the fifth and one out with two on, one of the light towers at Bosse Field in right field went out. The game was delayed for over an hour but the contest could not resume. The game will resume tomorrow night at 6:05 pm and will be followed by a seven-inning affair. Joel Collins had connected on his first homer of the season in the game. It marks the second time this season that a Crushers contest was suspended.
