
Crunch Sign Goaltenders Allen York and John Park to Tryout Contracts

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch have signed goaltender Allen York to a professional tryout contract, Crunch GM Julien BriseBois announced today. The club has also signed John Parks to an amateur tryout contract.
York, 24, has appeared in 16 games with five different teams (3 AHL, 2 ECHL. The 6'3, 194 pound goaltender from Wetaskiwin, Alberta has played in eight AHL games with Rockford, Texas, and Charlotte posting a 3-2-0-2 record with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage. In the ECHL York appeared in six games with Evansville and most recently two games with South Carolina posting a 4-4-0-0 record with a 3.72 goals-against average and a .873 save percentage. The goaltender is a veteran of 24 ECHL games, 36 AHL games, and 11 NHL games.
