Crunch Assign Gauthier and Milan to Florida Everblades

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch have assigned forward Danick Gauthier and defenseman Dan Milan to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL, Crunch general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Gauthier, 21, appeared in 38 games with the Crunch during the 2012-13 season, collecting 10 points (5g, 5a). The 6-foot-2, 207 lb, forward also collected six points (3g, 3a) in five games with the Everblades last season. Gauthier played 219 career QMJHL contests for Saint John, posting 146 points (76g, 70a). The Repentigny, QC native was signed as a free agent on March 2, 2012.

Milan, 21, spent the 2012-13 season with the Everblades. The 6-foot-1, 204 lb, defenseman appeared in 43 games and collected nine points (2g, 7a) . Prior to joining the Everblades, Milan played 130 contests in the QMJHL, amassing 49 points (16g, 33a) with Moncton and Victoriaville. The Detroit, MI native was signed as a free agent on Sept. 23, 2011.

The Upstate University Hospital home opener is on Oct. 12 against the Rochester Americans.
