Crunch Announce Roster Move

Syracuse, NY (April 8, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have returned goaltender Jeff Deslauriers to the Crunch.

Deslauriers, 27, appeared in four games with the Ducks this season, posting a 3-1-0 record with 2.74 goals-against average and .903 save percentage. He most recently led the Ducks to a 3-2 overtime victory against the Edmonton Oilers on April 5, 2012. The St. Jean-Richelieu, Quebec native has also appeared in 14 games with the Crunch this season, going 6-9-0 with a 3.75 goals-against average and .881 save percentage. Deslauriers was signed by the Ducks as a free agent on July 12, 2011. The goaltender was selected in the second round, 31st overall, of the 2002 NHL Entry draft.

The Crunch travel to Rochester for to face the Americans on April 13 and return home for the regular season home finale against the Connecticut Whale on April 14 at the War Memorial Arena.
