Crunch Announce Contest for Facebook Friends

Syracuse, NY (October 5, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today a special contest for all fans who are friends with the club on Facebook for a chance to win four (4) tickets to the Crunch's home opener vs. Adirondack on October 10 along with four (4) VIP passes to a special meet and greet with the Crunch's Quickway opening night guest, The Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio.

Before 7 p.m. tonight, the Crunch will give a status update on their facebook page with a trivia question about the movie The Karate Kid. In order to be in the running, fans must send the Crunch their answers using the message feature on facebook (fans that post their answer on the Crunch's wall will not be accepted).

The deadline to respond to the trivia question is Wednesday, October 7 at 5 p.m. The winner will be contacted directly through Facebook.

The Crunch travel to Binghamton on Friday, October 9 to take on the B-Sens before opening up at home when they face Adirondack on Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. Season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444 or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
