Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The Williamsport Crosscutters suffered through their worst loss of the season as they fell to the Auburn Doubledays 10-0 Saturday night at Bowman Field.
Starting Pitcher Freddy Ballestas took the loss as he went two and 2/3 innings, surrendering six runs on seven hits. Jesse Oster pitched two and 1/3 innings, yielding two runs on three hits. Yen Feng Lin tossed the next three innings, allowing two runs (one earned), on four hits. Southpaw, Korey Noles finished the game for the Cutters hurling a scoreless ninth.
Offensively for Williamsport, OF Tim Binkoski went 2-4. 3B Cody Overbeck added a double.
The Cutters travel to Batavia for a two game series against the Muckdogs starting Sunday. The games can be heard on ESPN 1050AM and 104.1FM.
