The Crosscutters extended their winning streak to 3 games Wednesday night by defeating Brooklyn 7-3. OF Brad Corley and DH James Boone each had 3 hits in the game. Corley provided the majority of the offense as he went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 4 RBI. RHP Eric Krebs (1-1) got credited for his first win of the season as he went 5.0 innings, giving up 3 hits, 1 run, and striking out 2. Williamsport remains 6 ý back from the Staten Island Yankees for the lead in the McNamara Division and are ý game behind Lowell for the wild card. The Crosscutters face Brooklyn again Thursday night before heading back on the road for a 5 game road trip that starts in Aberdeen on Friday.
