
Crosscutters defeat Jammers 7-6

HIGHLIGHTS: DH James Boone hit a 2-out game winning single in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Crosscutters the 7-6 victory over the Jammers. Before that 1B Steve Pearce had a 2-out single that plated the Cutters first 2 runs in the extra frame. The victory ends the Cutters 6 game losing skid and moves them back to within 3 games of the McNamara Division lead. Boone and 2B Jermel Lomack each had 3 hits. Pearce was 2 for 5 with 3 RBI ¬Ës. In the game 5 of the Cutters RBI's came with 2 outs. RHP Eric Krebs (0-1) started for Williamsport going 4.2 innings, giving up 6 hits, 4 runs, and striking out 5. Williamsport has now played 3 straight extra innings games. The Cutters meet Jamestown again Friday night at Bowman Field.
