
Crew Lose Late Lead, Settle for Draw with Minnesota

COLUMBUS - The Crew earned a point with the 1-1 draw against Minnesota United FC in the first road match of the season today at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minn.
The Black & Gold have scored in 16 consecutive MLS matches, including postseason, registering 34 goals in the stretch.
Midfielder Darlington Nagbe today appeared in his 103rd consecutive regular season match, a streak that dates back to May 1, 2021 with the Black & Gold. Nagbe is now tied with Bobby Boswell (103 from 2013-16) for the second-longest such stretch by a non-goalkeeper in MLS annals.
Forward Cucho Hernández scored a right-footed goal in the 59th minute from outside the penalty area to open the scoring.
Including the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs, Cucho has recorded a goal contribution in 10 consecutive matches, amassing nine goals and two assists during that span.
Cucho has also recorded 13 goal contributions in the past 10 regular season matches.
Cucho recorded a game-high seven shots (four on target) today. At the conclusion of matches kicking off 2 p.m. ET today, he ranks first in the MLS this season in shots (15) and shots on target (seven).
Midfielder Max Arfsten registered his fourth start of his MLS career today. He featured for the full 90 minutes, recording one shot on target, 31 accurate passes (74 percent passing accuracy), 66 touches, one tackle won, and five ground duels won.
