GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett announced today that the Coyotes have reassigned center Pascal Rheaume to the San Antonio Rampage - the Coyotes' top minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Rheaume was recalled on an emergency basis from San Antonio on Friday and skated in the Coyotes' game versus Colorado on Saturday night. The 32-year-old center finished with 6:10 of ice time and did not figure in scoring in the contest.

The Coyotes acquired Rheaume in a trade along with Ray Schultz and Steven Spencer from New Jersey in exchange for Brad Ference on Nov. 25. In 10 games with San Antonio this season, Rheaume has registered 2-0-2 and 8 penalty minutes (PIM).

Prior to the trade, the Quebec City, Quebec native played in 12 NHL games this season with the New Jersey Devils, collecting 4 PIM. Rheaume also skated in 9 games with Albany (AHL), recording 2-0-2 and 9 PIM.

In his NHL career, the 6-1, 210-pound forward has played in 318 career games over parts of 9 seasons with New Jersey, St. Louis, Chicago, Atlanta, the New York Rangers, and the Coyotes, registering 39-52-91 and 144 PIM.
