Division rivals will square off at Wings Stadium, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Toledo Walleye this evening during the 4th Annual McDonald's Golden Ice Game, presented by McDonald's and WNWN. Tonight will also commence a home-and-home between the teams.

Snapping a three-game road losing streak last night in Cincinnati, Kalamazoo will make a quick stop home before heading back onto the road for three straight. The K-Wings begin the night in first place in the North Division, six points ahead of the Chicago Express.

Ending a six-game losing streak in convincing fashion last night, the Walleye earned their first shutout of the season with a 3-0 victory over the Wheeling Nailers. The win places Toledo within two points of the Cincinnati Cyclones for third place in the North Division

Earlier today, the K-Wings activated Kory Karlander for the 21-Day IR. In a separate transaction, Kalamazoo has place defenseman Sam Ftorek on the 3-Day IR.
