
Defenseman Landry Reassigned to Everblades

ESTERO, FL - The Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL) has reassigned defenseman Charles Landry to the Florida Everblades from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League. The transaction was announced Saturday.
Landry, 20, returns to the Blades having appeared in 20 games for the Admirals this season, registering six assists, 19 penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating. The 6-1, 190-pound defenseman logged three assists and a plus-three rating in five games with the Everblades this season.
Last season, the Napierville, Québec, native appeared in 57 games with the Montreal Juniors of the Québec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), recording a career best 11 goals and 40 points. He also registered a plus-26 rating. Landry played in 234 career QMJHL games between Montreal and the Drummondville Voltigeurs. He registered 22 goals and 96 points during his career. Landry also skated in 43 post-season games, amassing six goals and 12 points.
Landry signed a three-year, entry-level contract by the Lightning on September 15, 2010. He represented the Lightning at the 2010 Traverse City NHL Prospects Tournament as an invitee.
