Countdown to Face-Off

March 19, 2011 - ECHL (ECHL)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release

For the final time in the regular season, the Kalamazoo Wings will face-off against their division rivals, the Wheeling Nailers. The K-Wings have won three of their past four encounters over the Nailers and as a result lead the season series over Wheeling with a record of 4-3-0-1.

After dropping two straight games, the K-Wings got back to their winning ways by earning their third shutout of the season with a 5-0 victory over the Trenton Devils. With 77 points, Kalamazoo leads the North Division by six points over Wheeling.

Like the K-Wings, the Nailers come into today's action fresh off a shutout victory of their own, a 3-0 decision last night over the South Carolina Stingrays.
