Kalamazoo Wings News Release
While there is only 174 miles separating Wings Stadium from the Sears Centre, tonight will be just the third meeting this season between the Kalamazoo Wings and the Chicago Hounds. The K-Wings have won both meetings this season by a combined score of 13-2.
Kalamazoo will touch the Wings Stadium ice for the first-time in 2007. The K-Wings return home after finishing a four-game road swing Wednesday in Quad City. This evening is the K-Wings' fourth straight game against a Western Conference opponent. On the season Kalamazoo is 10-3-1 against teams from the west.
A 5-1 victory over Port Huron Sunday at the Sears Centre snapped a four-game losing streak for Chicago. The Hounds come into Wings Stadium hoping to end another streak, as Chicago has dropped six consecutive road games.
