Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the third time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Elmira Jackals. Kalamazoo won the first two previous meetings by a combined score of 9-1. After today, the two teams will face-off six more times, including four at Wings Stadium.
With a six-point lead over Elmira for second place in the Eastern Conference, the K-Wings come into this afternoon's contest looking to create a little breathing room between them and the Jackals. Kalamazoo will also try to move closer to Muskegon, as the K-Wings trail the idle Fury by 16 points in the east.
Elmira comes into the Wings Stadium looking to snap a four-game losing streak. The Jackals roster will be a little short, as the team is missing the services three players due to injury and three another three players due to league/team suspension.

A Night at the Drake
Forward Lucas Drake, who recorded a hat trick in last night's game, loves playing at home. Including the playoffs, Drake has scored 10 goals in his last five appearances at Wings Stadium.
A Balanced Attack
In last night's game against the Fort Wayne Komets, forwards Lucas Drake and Jason Lawmaster recorded their first points of the season as members of the K-Wings. With Drake and Lawmaster receiving points, the K-Wings are the only team in the UHL to have every player on their roster to generate a point.
Finishing Strong
So far this season, the K-Wings best scoring period has been the third. Kalamazoo has outscored the opponents 36-18 in the final stanza.
