Two of the top teams in the United Hockey League will face-off today, as the Kalamazoo Wings travel to the Glens Falls Civic Center to battle the Adirondack Frostbite. The K-Wings enter the game in second place in the Central Division, while the Frostbite are the leaders of the Eastern Division.
After a loss last night to Danbury, the K-Wings will try to avoid something they haven't done all year, lose two games in a row. Today also marks the end of the K-Wings four-game road swing, Kalamazoo enters the game with a 2-1-0 record thus far on the road swing,
The Frostbite, who has won four games in a row, will look to extend the longest current winning streak in the league. Besides being one of the top teams in the league, the Frostbite are also one of best home teams in the league. Adirondack is an impressive 10-1-0 this season at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

Against the East
Despite their loss last night to Danbury, the K-Wings have faired well against the Eastern Division. Lifetime, the K-Wings are 45-28-1against the east, which includes a 4-1-0 record this year.
The End of the Road Today's game in Glens Falls will conclude a four-game road swing for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo has gone 2-1-0 thus far on their road trip.
No Short Feat
The K-Wings power-play unit has done something that no team in the league can say. Kalamazoo is the only team in the league that hasn't allowed a shorthanded goal.
On a Roll
Forward Tyler Rennette comes into today's game with a lengthy point streak. Rennette has recorded a point and assist in each of his last six games. Rennette's six -game assist streak is the longest assist streak by a K-Wing this year and his point streak is one game shy of tying the season high for Kalamazoo.
