The K-Wings continue their tour of the United Hockey League's Eastern Division tonight as they travel to Elmira, New York to battle the Jackals. Tonight's game is the second of four meetings between the teams. Kalamazoo captured the first encounter by the score of 5-3 at Wings Stadium on November 6th.
The K-Wings are looking to snap a two-game losing streak. The two-game streak ties the K-Wings longest winless streak of the season. Yannick Carpentier leads the K-Wings in scoring with 14 points and is one of four players on the roster that is already in double-digits in scoring
Kalamazoo will have to keep their scoring by committee up tonight, as they play the most prolific scoring team in the UHL. The Jackals have scored a league best 76 goals on the season; however, despite scoring in bunches, Elmira is just 3-7-0 in their last 10 games. The Jackals leading scorer is Greg Koehler, who also leads the entire league with 39 points.

Heating Up K-Wings forward Sean Starke has found his scoring touch. The rookie forward has recorded three goals in his last four games. With three goals by Starke makes him the K-Wings leading rookie goal scorer.

The K-Wings power play is starting to gel together. The K-Wings are fourth in the UHL on the man advantage (18.2%); however, in their last five games the K-Wings are even more prolific, as they are an amazing 27.2%.
