Getting set to ring in the New Year, tonight will be the fourth of seven meetings between the Kalamazoo Wings and the Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season, the K-Wings are 0-2-1-0 against the Cyclones, including a record of 0-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium versus Cincinnati.

Earning their first victory since December 14th, the K-Wings snapped a season-long five-game (0-4-1-0) winless streak on Saturday with a 4-3 shootout victory against the Toledo Walleye. Tonight starts a three-game home stand for Kalamazoo, who is 8-7-0-0 at Wings Stadium.

Winners of three straight on the road, tonight is the third game of four-game road swing for the Cyclones. The North Division leaders have had their share of close calls, as 19 of their 30 games have been decided by a single digit. The Cyclones are 12-5-2-0 in one goal games, including three wins against the K-Wings.

Slappy New Year!

Ready to ring in the New Year during the 11th Annual New Year's Eve Bash, the K-Wings are 5-3-0-2 during the annual contest. Kalamazoo, who is 2-1-0-0 on New Year's Eve since joining the ECHL, have won two straight games on December 31st, with their last loss occurring in 2009 against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
